This policy describes how the Jyotish Claw app (“Jyotish Claw”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares your information. By using the app you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in we collect your email address to authenticate you and to save your readings to your account.
- Camera and photos. To generate a reading you may take a photo of your palms with the camera or select an existing image from your photo library. We only access images you explicitly capture or choose.
- Reading inputs. Details you provide for a reading, such as birth date, time, and place, and your answers to the in-app questions.
How we use your information
- To authenticate you and provide access to the app.
- To generate, store, and display your readings.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the service.
Sharing with third parties
To produce a reading, your palm images and the reading inputs you provide are sent to third-party artificial-intelligence providers that perform the image analysis and text generation on our behalf. We share only what is needed to generate your reading, and we do not sell your personal information. We also use a hosting and database provider to store your account and readings, and an email provider to send sign-in links.
Data retention and security
Your account and readings are retained until you delete your account or ask us to delete them. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). You can delete your account and associated app data from the Account screen in the Android app or visit /delete-account.
Children
The app is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
